Meet the professionals who will be building your home!

Chad - Chad is our heating and cooling specialist and electrician. Ask Chad about the latest developments in home comfort. Chad has been working in the business for many years and his work is second to none. Chad is a proud husband, and father of six children. He is active in his church and is a big fan of racing.

Michelle - Chad's wife Michelle is a valued member of our electrician team. She brings several years of electrical knowledge and experience to our crew. Michelle always has a smile on her face, and customers are always glad they got to know her during the mechanical phases of their homes. Michelle is happily married to Chad and a busy mother of six.

John - John is our lead framer. He is often referred to as the "Golden Child". John has been building homes in Porter County for over twenty years. John is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Einstein Society. John will simply not allow for anything to be out of level or out of square. He demands and achieves perfection on everything he lays his hand. John is happily married with three kids (Destiny, Nicholas, and Anna). On the weekends John can be found spending time with his family, helping out at his church, or reeling in large crappie and bluegill.

Meet Uncle Nippy (Dean's younger brother) - He has set the standard for perfection. He has been a part of Bucher Construction since day one. Uncle Nippy is often homeowners' favorite employee. He is the trim master and puts the finishing touches on every Bucher Home; he will never leave a job until his work meets his unparalleled standards. Uncle Nippy is a true family man. He spends much of his free time volunteering at his Church and with his wife and children.

Tom has been a well-respected framer in Porter County for over 30 years. Tom formally ran a framing crew second to none. He has put together some of Porter County's finest homes. We are very fortunate to have Tom as part of our crew. Tom has recently had his third grandchild. He enjoys spending time with friends and having a good time. Tom is our envied "cut" man. Ask him why they call him "Tommy Ten Fingers"

Jonathon - Jonathon, a.k.a. Snuffy, has been building homes for over 8 years. Snuffy has provided Bucher Construction and their customers with the highest quality work since he began. He spent some years training under Dean's first boss, Snuffy's Grandpa Jack, at Nuest Construction, and eventually became a loyal and valued member of our team. Snuffy is often the first one on the job every morning and one of the last to leave. His dedication to precision and a perfectly framed house make Jonathon one of Bucher Construction's biggest assets. Snuffy is looking forward to his wedding this summer.

Brandin - Brando is one of the strongest guys around. He has been a carpenter for 9 years. He spends most of his time on the finish crew, trimming houses and ensuring the finished product is flawless. We are very excited to have him working with us as he brings unsurpassed work ethic and energy daily. Brando is an envied guitar player. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and is looking forward to his wedding this fall.

Zane - Zaner has over 20 years experience. He has built homes all across the country. He loves to tell of his experiences. We are very thankful to have Zane working with us. He has much skill, experience, and finds much satisfaction in his work. Zane enjoys working on his home, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Cory - Cory is the newest member of Bucher Construction. He adds over 2 years of experience and a strong work ethic to the crew. He can be found on the framing crew or hanging out with Zane during lunch. We're excited to have Cory with us and his future here.

Dan - aka "Gipper" is Dean's son. He is known as the break boss and Tyvek King. We are very excited to have Dan working with us. Most of his time is spent on the framing crew. He really takes pride in our homes and our reputation. He is directly involved in many areas of our home designs, from exterior combinations to interior ideas. He has a passion for continually making Bucher Construction better. He and his wife Jess have recently moved into their new home in Augustine.

Patty Bucher - Patty is Dean's wife and a vital part of our operation. Patty handles all the "office work" and payroll. She also assists in sales and design. She has over 20 years of experience. She is much appreciated and has a special gift of helping client's build their dream home. We simply would not be the same without her tasteful touch. She does much of the behind the scenes work and does a fantastic job! She and Dean recently celebrated their 28th anniversary and the birth of their fourth grandchild, with number five on the way.

Bryan Bucher - Bryan loves his job and prides himself in pleasing customers. He believes customer satisfaction comes ahead of anything. He takes much pride in Bucher homes. He spends much of his time on the job and meeting with customers to assist them in building their dream home and seeing for themselves the "Bucher Difference." Bryan is recently married to Kelly, and the two have just built their new home in Grande Prairie.

Dean Bucher - Dean is the founder of Bucher Construction. Over the last 20 years he has satisfied over 200 homeowner's. He builds each home as if he was going to live there himself, sacrificing nothing. Quality and integrity come before anything in Dean's life. He is an "old school" builder that believes his reputation and word of mouth will carry his company. He is confident in work and can assure customers nothing will be overlooked. He invites prospective clients to talk with prior customers and learn of the "Bucher Difference." He enjoys spending his rare free time with his wife, three children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law and four grand-children. He is admired by many in the business as being one of the finest, truest, and most knowledgeable contractors in the area .
